Your Essential Wedding Day Flat Lay Checklist:

Here's a list of items to have tucked away in a designated box or bag for your photographer to grab on the morning of your wedding. Easy peasy!

All the Rings!

The engagement ring, both wedding bands. Cleaned and sparkling, please!

Ring Holder!

Special box, a tea cup, whatever you see fit for your rings to rest in.

Your Invitation Suite

This includes the main invitation, RSVP card, any enclosure cards, and even the envelope with your partner's calligraphy if you have it! Don't forget any special stamps.

Vows & Love Letters

If you've written out your vows in a special book or on beautiful paper, or if you're exchanging letters, these are incredibly personal touches.

Footwear

Both pairs of shoes! Even if they're not going to be worn for the entire day, they're part of the overall aesthetic.

Accessories Galore

This includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hairpieces, cufflinks, ties/bow ties, and any other special adornments.

Scent of the Day

Both partners' perfumes or colognes. The bottles often have such beautiful designs!

Bouquets & Boutonnieres

Have your florist drop these off to the getting-ready location. A small sprig of extra greenery or a loose bloom can also be amazing for styling.

Those are some of the basics, now let's dig deep and add the final touches! These may not be necessary but add an over all vibe to your personalized flat lay.

Meaningful Mementos

Think about anything that holds special significance to your partnership. This could be:

  • A family heirloom, like a grandparent's brooch or a pocket watch.
  • Something from your proposal.
  • A small gift exchanged between partners.
  • A piece of fabric from a loved one's attire.
  • Photos of loved ones who can't be there.

Ribbons & Fabric Swatches

Got extra ribbon from your bouquet or a special fabric you're using for decor? These are fantastic for adding texture and tying everything together.

Details that Pop with Color!

Think about your wedding colors! Are you incorporating dusty blues, terracotta, emerald green, or soft blush? Bring in items that reflect these hues.

This could be:

  • A silk ribbon in your accent color.
  • A small piece of colored stationery.
  • Even a fun, colorful pair of socks!
  • We can also play with neutral tones like creams, whites, and varying shades of your primary color to add depth. Don't be afraid to bring options!

Remember, the goal is to tell your unique story. Don't stress too much, just gather these goodies, and I'll work my Bold Wanderlust magic to create stunning images you'll cherish forever! Can't wait to capture your amazing day!
